October 03 - November 29,2014
Part of the quirky Houston/Idaho gang of folks like Ed and Nancy Kienholz and Walter Hopps, Sharon Kopriva brings her beautiful creepiness to Lubbock in the form of sculptures, assemblages, paintings and drawings. Jim Edwards once said of her work: “Death and a sense of spiritual transformation abound in Kopriva’s art. Her haunting assemblages replicate a sense of human pathos and inevitability.”
