Chivas Clem: Desperate to Appear Sophisticated and Other Titles

An exhibition of new paintings by Paris, Texas based artist Chivas Clem made with glitter, metallic confetti, and other materials suspended in resin and poured onto canvas–an extension of his earlier performance work Desperate to Appear Sophisticated. The show also includes new sculptures made from used VHS tapes.
