New Factories

Experimental music group New Factories, consisting of Houston-based artists Gabriel Martinez and Ronnie Yates present an improvisational sound performance featuring field recordings taken from the Houston Ship Channel. Their performance will converse with VAC artist Tania Mouraud’s use of similar recordings in her new video installation FATA MORGANA, which was filmed at an oil refinery in Pasadena, Texas.
