A Modern Vision: European Masterworks from the Phillips Collection

An exhibition featuring works from The Phillips Collection, America's first museum of modern art, which opened in Washington, D.C. in 1921. The show includes works by many 19th and 20th century masters, including Courbet, Corot, Daumier, Delacroix, Cézanne, Degas, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Manet, Monet, Redon, Sisley, Bonnard, de Staël, Kandinsky, Matisse, Morandi and Picasso.
