A solo exhibition featuring 14 paintings by Thomas Stokes III. "These works are presented through the McNay Art Museum’s Artists Looking at Art (ALA) series. The ALA series salutes the vitality of the contemporary art community in the San Antonio area. The McNay Contemporary Collectors Forum (MCCF) initiated the Artists Looking at Art series and jointly sponsors it with the McNay’s education department. Thomas Stokes III is an emerging artist and a McNay employee. As in museums across the globe, Thomas demonstrates the high levels of creativity found in the staff, from curators to security personnel. You may spot Thomas in these galleries helping to make the McNay a welcoming and safe space."
