December 19 - December 19,2019
"Don’t miss the rare opportunity to join McCasland Chair Of Cowboy Culture/Curator Of Cowboy Collections and Western Art at the National Cowboy Museum, Michael Grauer as he describes the irresistible allure of Taos and Santa Fe for artists at the turn of the 20th century. Drawn by the native inhabitants and the local landscape, artists drew inspiration from the bright colors and intense light of New Mexico. Following the lecture, Grauer will lead a tour of the Visions of New Mexico exhibition closing December 30, offering his personal insights about the artists and their works."
