Dyer’s photographs of Selena were part of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston’s Icons of Style show in 2019 and are currently the subject of a tribute room at the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio entitled Siempre Selena, Selena Forever, which honors the 25th anniversary of the superstar’s passing. Award-winning San Antonio photographer John Dyer (born 1947) has photographed for major ad agencies, corporations, and national magazines. He is the author of three books: Conjunto, El Vaquero Real The Original American Cowboy, and Hidden Treasures San Antonio.
