This body of work, spanning from within the course of a year, focuses on the power of femme aesthetics – specifically those connected to trans female self-preservation and survival...Further, I am captivated by origin stories of trans womanhood - how these stories of becomingness have often faced eradication through oppressive forces and how trans women continually strive to uphold and celebrate their personal narratives of female embodiment.
