"FotoFinish 2021: Student Voices in a Virtual Reality brings together artwork made by student artists living in Houston who participated in FotoFest's Literacy Through Photography Online Residency Program. The goal of this program is to provide students with a creative outlet over the course of 2020–21, a time when creativity, self-expression, and communication were redefined and made difficult by the ongoing pandemic. Throughout the FotoFest Literacy Through Photography program school year, students participated in a curriculum exploring the central themes and ideas of SELF, HOME, COMMUNITY, and DREAMS. This exhibition is the result of their educational and artistic reflections.

This project is presented as both a physical exhibition taking place at Silver Street Studios, located in Arts District Houston, and in the form of an online exhibition on the Literacy Through Photography homepage."
