From NALAC: "NALAC invites you to a conversation with the National Endowment for the Arts on Tuesday, July 27th at 2:00 PM CST focusing on relief funding for arts and culture organizations through the American Rescue Plan. NALAC is collaborating with the NEA to promote this webinar to encourage Latinx and culturally-specific organizations to apply for these funds. The NEA is actively seeking first-time applicants and this workshop will provide content for first-timers as well as previous NEA applicants. Cost share or matching funds are not required. This webinar will focus on American Rescue Plan Grants to Organizations. These are one-time grants to eligible organizations including, but not limited to, nonprofit arts organizations, local arts agencies, arts service organizations, units of state or local government, federally recognized tribal communities and other organizations. The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 aims to support jobs in the arts sector, keep the doors open to arts organizations, and assist the field in its response and recovery. Please note, before applying for federal funding, organizations need to obtain a DUNS number and register with SAM.gov and grants.gov. Registration on SAM.gov and grants.gov can take several weeks, so you should begin the process as soon as possible.
