From UTSA: "The works of art included in Momentum capture and express forms in motion. These include ceramic forms with expressive gestural qualities, and larger sculptures comprised of responsibly resourced logs. There is a quintessence of energy that courses through each piece. Conversations among the works include discussions about movement, the environment and landscapes, time, and the transfer of physical, emotional, and spiritual energy. Addison’s investigative process nourishes his experimentations, furthering his quest for discovery, learning, and understanding different ways in which the clay/medium will react, and how it will endure the application of traditional treatments in non-traditional ways."
