EDITION VARIABLES 2022: NEW AUSTIN PRINTMAKERS

From Flatbed Center for Contemporary Printmaking:
"Flatbed Center for Contemporary Printmaking is excited to announce its first annual exhibition that showcases Austin’s new and upcoming printmakers. This exhibition features work from students who are receiving their BFA, BA, BS, or MFA with a major or minor concentration in printmaking from an Austin area college or university. The exhibition represents a wide variety of new artists that are investigating and challenging what printmaking can be.
Included in the exhibition are 24 selected works by 19 artists from the University of Texas, Texas State University, and Austin Community College. The exhibition was juried and curated by Flatbed printers Alyssa Ebinger and Richie Peña. Flatbed is dedicated to fostering emerging artists with printmaking practices and hopes to make the student exhibition an annual summer event. Attached are several entries with the artist's name, title, and print information in the file name.Please come celebrate Austin's newest printmakers with us!"
