AARON PARAZETTE | STRAY CATS WITH KITTENS

From McClain Gallery: "McClain Gallery is pleased to announce Stray Cats with Kittens, a solo exhibition of works by Aaron Parazette featuring both new paintings and works from early on in the artist’s career. The show presents a range of work by Parazette exploring his long interest in abstract painting. Like the stray thoughts of any artist, the works live in the same neighborhood, wander at will, howl in the night, and sometimes produce offspring. Works from the 1990s draw a continuous conceptual line through the artist's formal approach to painting; and several new shaped canvas pieces as well as the debut of a new series utilizing online image generator technology round out the group of works. This is Parazette’s fourth solo exhibition at McClain Gallery. The artist will be in attendance at the opening reception on Saturday, November 12 from 2–4pm."
