"Flatbed is very proud to announce ther annual group exhibition of works published by Flatbed Press during its current year. Titled 31 BY 12,  this year’s exhibition includes work by twelve artists:  Adrian Armstrong, Miguel A. Aragon, Connie Arismendi, Jennifer Anderson, Pepe Coronado, Laura Berman,  David Everett, Mike Hart, Peter Nickel, Heather Parrish, Maricela Sanchez, and James Sullivan.  Thirty-one refers to the number of projects published during 2022.  Each project might include over fifty unique monoprints while some projects are editioned etchings or lithographs.

2022 was one of Flatbed’s most productive years.  The projects ranged in scale and technique. Monoprints by Pepe Coronado measure up to 42 ½ x 70 inches and a chine collé color lithograph by Adrian Armstrong is  15 x 11 inches. Three artists (Peter Nickel, Jennifer Anderson, and Adrian Armstrong) created five stone lithograph editions and seven color lithographs were created by Laura Berman and Miguel Aragón. Chine collé intaglio editions were created by Connie Arismend, Heather Parrish, and Adrian Armstrong.  Mike Hart has created a suite of three beautifully produced polymer plate etchings. Three artists, James Sullivan, David Everett, and Miguel A. Aragón, created seven editions of color woodcuts.

Over 80 monoprints were printed by Maricela Sanchez and Pepe Coronado.

Flatbed is excited to represent these artists by showing a selection for this year’s publications.
