"We believe strongly that art is for everyone. The simple act of creating art has a profound impact on mental & physical health and wellbeing, and sharing that art plays a vital role in fostering social connections & creating community. Art empowers people to tell their own stories, it contributes to the cultural landscape and enriches our city with a vibrancy like nothing else. Community art spaces like the Fort Worth Community Art Center are an essential component in making art accessible for all.
With this in mind, we presented an invitation to the community to participate in a group exhibition that is open to artists of any age and all skill levels and nearly 300 creators responded. Together We Make Art Happen celebrates our North Texas community’s diversity through the arts and showcases the talents of regional artists and makers. All artwork that was delivered to Arts Fort Worth between February 22 - 24 is included in the exhibition and installed salon-style in Arts Fort Worth’s Marlene and Spencer Hays Foundation Gallery. Artworks will be on view from March 1 – March 23, and part of FWADA’s Spring Gallery Night, one of Fort Worth’s biggest art events.

Experts discuss the role art plays in the relationship between physical spaces & cultural identity. Learn about how art fosters a sense of belonging, and how community art shapes,reflects and enriches our vibrant communities." March 16, 1:00 pm
Creating Value: Art's Contribution & Impact for Thriving Cities "A panel discussion about the indirect yet profound influence art has on creating thriving cities. Experts discuss how art drives tourism, fuels economic growth, and enhances the overall quality of life within cities. Learn about the hidden value of art and how it serves as a catalyst for our city's vitality & prosperity.""
