Janelle Barrington Spivey: Who, What, When, Where, Why

May 03 - May 31,2024

From Charles Adams Gallery: "Who, What, When, Where, Why" is a fundamental set of questions that are commonly used to gather information, analyze situations, and understand the context of a particular topic or event. These questions serve as pillars of inquiry, guiding individuals in exploring the various aspects and nuances of a subject. This series also allows me to continually keep painting things I want but have a cohesive collection."Who" focuses on identifying the individuals or entities involved, "What" delves into the specifics of the actions or objects in question, "When" pinpoints the timing or duration of events, "Where" provides the location or setting, and "Why" seeks to uncover the reasons, motives, or causes behind phenomena.Together, these questions form a comprehensive framework for investigation, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making across a wide range of disciplines and scenarios."
