June 07 - July 27,2024
From LHUCA: "During the past five years, artist Mars Woodhill has explored the ancient philosophy of the ‘Elements of Nature’ through sculpture, wall art, and installation. The idea that there is a connection between all living and nonliving entities has resonated with philosophers and cultures throughout the past. Using mixed media, such as acrylic polymers, acrylic mirrors and earthy materials, Woodhill creates abstract artworks embodying the ‘Elements of Nature’. This concept provides a construction in which to explore color, texture, transparency, light, and materiality. Mars Woodhill will be in the Christine DeVitt Exhibition Hall from June 7 through July 27, 2024."
