"Beginning July 12, the Georgetown Art Center is proud to present the opening of our newest exhibit Complementary. Complementary showcases the work of Lari Gibbons and Janie Stidham. It features colorful new fine art prints and textile pieces made by the two Texas-based artists. The exhibition title refers to the harmonious and reciprocal nature of shared explorations and themes in the artists’ practices. Working in parallel, both artists create playful and inventive compositions using geometric patterns, textured materials, and colorful hues.

The exhibit will run from July 12 – August 11, 2024, and is free to attend. There will be an opening reception on Saturday, July 13th from 4-6pm, and an artist talk on Sunday, July 14th at 2pm."
