Green Urbanism (GU) – 9th edition

Green urbanism is a method of sustainable urban planning that produces environmentally friendly communities by reducing emissions and waste, encouraging the development of green areas, utilizing sustainable building materials, and encouraging the use of electrified transportation. The goal of green urbanism is to utilize less energywater, and materials throughout the whole life cycle of a city or district. The goal of green urbanism is to build thriving, integrated, and cohesive communities. This can be done by implementing strategies like mixed-use developments and inexpensive housing, which encourage greater social inclusion and sustainability and aid in the repopulation of city centers, regional cuisine, and short supply chains.
